If you’re coming to Turkey for your hair transplant while also planning to get plastic surgery, depending on the type of surgery, you may or may not be able to undergo the latter.

What Plastic Surgeries Can You Combine With A Hair Transplant?
Combining hair transplantation with plastic surgery, such as liposuction or breast reduction, lift, or augmentation, might be possible. However, since each patient is unique, it’s best to consult your surgeon and have a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
What Plastic Surgeries Can’t You Combine With A Hair Transplant?
Some of the plastic surgeries that you cannot combine with a hair transplant include:
- Rhinoplasty
- Tummy tuck
- Facelift
- Eyebrow lift
- Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery)
- Otoplasty (ear correction)
Various reasons can make these surgeries unsuitable for hair transplantation. For example, rhinoplasty cannot be combined with hair restoration because the medication used for the latter could be harmful for a nose job.
Similarly, otoplasty isn’t done with a hair transplant either because the target area of an ear correction surgery is the same as the donor area for a hair transplant.
Specific positions required before and after tummy tuck and hair transplantation also conflict with each other, which is why it’s not advised to have them both on the same trip.
Can You Get Cosmetic Injectables With a Hair Transplant?
While not technically plastic surgery, cosmetic injectables should not be combined with a hair transplant. This is because the procedure can cause post-operative swelling, and adding injectables during this time may interfere with healing and overall results. It’s best to wait until the recovery period is over before considering any additional aesthetic treatments.
